Light, bliss and ecstasy

‘Ecstasy and bliss are allowed to be experieced fully’.

This is what was being said in a trainers manual on Sufi dancing.

Why can’t we feel, bliss, ectasy? Beause once we do, we experience the reaction of the environmen to it. It’s ‘not done’. It’s “not done’ to be in a natural state of bliss, ecstasy. Why is that so?

And so we need alcohol. Or drugs. That’s why Samuel Lewis came up with Sufi dancing for the hippies in the US, during those hippy days. To get them off the drugs and create an opportunity to experience ecstacy and bliss. By dancing while chanting mantra’s. Be elevated. Feel light, bliss, ecstasy.

Sufi dancing being one of the many means to feel bliss. Being in nature is another, very simple way.

‘The most precious jewel that you can ever offer anybody is ecstasy’, said Hazrat Inayat Khan. It is a powerfull emotion being stirred in the depth, releasing all the energy of the soul. It’s also the cure when one finds oneself in a state of ‘Kemal’. That is a feeling of almost depression, stagnancy,

Ofcourse one cannot be in a state of ecstasy all day. At some point one has to go back to the daily routine, function in one’s job.

Behind ecstasy there’s a state of peace, deep peace.

Wishing you much love, light, ecstasy and bliss

Healing modalities as a tool

We’re talking here about stuff like working with crystals, reiki, tarot, angels and angelcards, yoga practice, sacred geometry – the list goes on. Because there’s a buzz going on on the internet about an A to Z list of New Age practices to avoid, which that well known angel specialist Doreen Virtue published lately and which produced a storm of reactions on Youtube by people working with the healing modalities. This triggered a discussion, which is a good thing in itself, and I’m trying to bring a contribution to that discussion.

Healing modalities are tools to get in touch with the deeper side of life. To get healed, to find peace, balance, clarity, mastery over situations, develop compassion, insight, promote creativity and zest for life, for example. We ourselves need to develop the discernment that something works for us, that is, do we benefit from it or not. This differs for everyone and at various stages of our life. What works for us today may be different in a later period. Thus we navigate through life, grow, evolve.

Healing modalities are there, not to identify with as the thing itself, as the ultimate goal, but as a means to get there. Where? To our own soul and the way we evolve to higher and higher levels, with more and more of our talents and gifts on line, in order to be that, to express that, to work with and to bring it into the field of Gaia (=earth). To promote balance, peace, wellbeing, love, health, justice and any other beautiful quality on earth. For humanity as a species that is. Or just for ourselves to begin with and that is great too. That is already a big contribution. Our society needs balanced people, healthy people, joyous people, compassionate people, creative people, intelligent 🤓 people.

So when I say healing modalities, not as the ultimate goal but as a means, then maybe that A to Z list by Doreen Virtue is meant as that. I hope so, because using terminology like ‘they are the tools of the devil’ throws us back into an old, old groove. The type of thinking that led to the witch hunts in the Middle Ages. I guess we are talking about an attempt here to evolve higher and leave behind old belief systems, that keep us stuck in an old groove. Modern vocabulary would be ‘the collapsing of old timelines’, meaning the old grooves disappear, which is great, space for the new to emerge. To me that says it very well. The collapsing of old timelines.

Perhaps one could say the Doreen Virtue issue works like a homeopathic remedy, because now a lot of light workers who use the healing modalities raise their voice to correct some of the misjudgments, if you like. And that is an old issue which went on for ages……the clashing of Paganism and Christianity.

Paganism and Christianity don’t have to bite each other. They can go very well together, hand in hand. I’ve seen a nice blend of it in a Youtube video – – a woman working with crystals in a relaxation, attuning the chakra’s with them, using white sage to clear the energy and saying a little Christian prayer 🙏. No problem there.

Much love everyone

The shatter of grudge

The new word is downloads. It had been happening to me.

I felt it.

Lovely caressing energies.

Angel love.

To cure the distress.

About what?

About not feeling understood.

About not seeming to be able to convey the message.
The thing is I really feel these waves of love flowing through me.

Must be angel love or otherwise.

It wants to comfort the things I can’t cope with, like getting over something that’s too deep to feel and understand but sometimes all of a sudden it has me in it’s grip.

I can’t explain it but it’s there. Sinking away into the half sleep, there’s clear explanations. It’s perfectly fitting in an orderly sequence of sentences of a clear presentation of what’s it’s about. All I have to do is write it down when I’m awake.

But now awake, it’s too far away.

The only thing that stayed with me is the title of what it’s about, and that was very clear and that is: THE SHATTER OF GRUDGE.

That’s the underlying emotion of a story playing out. That’s what needs to happen.

The shatter of grudge.

Very important.

How to shatter a grudge I don’t seem to be able to feel, but has it’s impact upon the situation. It’s in a reality under the surface of what is visible. The daily facts of life. What we see.

There’s a pain.

I can feel that.

It’s pushing against the ribcage from within.

Knocking against the door.

Like hey, I want to be seen, felt.

I shall have to focus my attention on it. Shine a searchlight on it. Breath into it.

Yes, that’s what I’m going to do.

I’ll get back to you later about this.
Not in order to revenge all the times when nobody was around when it was needed, because work is always more important. I would like to shatter that grudge.

Everything is in it’s grip.

Stealing the love and attention that could have been the cure.

The angels know that.

They are with me. When I’m feeling alone and in distress about not being able to convey a message that’s not clear, but wants to be seen, felt. They send waves of love and tell me to shatter the grudge. And at least give the message about this. About the waves of love, caressing the nerves.

Because I had asked for it.

In a prayer.

There’s always an answer. Must be the ask and it shall be given sort of a thing.

For those that want to know it.

So that’s what I’m trying to do.

Will the message be heard?
I’ll get back to you later.

When I’m sorted out.

First find peace, then it will be sorted out.

In peace, things fall into place.

No more grudge.

At last.

This writing is taking me there. Peace.

Thank you angels.

Peace of mind

The Hindus say: ‘neti, neti!’ It means, ‘not true, not true!’.You say that to the conclusion you make up in your mind. Your opinions, idea’s.

Giving up to them is hard. It’s been your sense of safety. As long as we can’t do it, it’s better to stick to our mindsets. While at the same time knowing that it’s all relative. They give you a sense of order. Just like keeping the house tidy. Chairs in a certain place. Paintings at the wall in a certain place. That gives a tidiness that gives a sense of peace. That’s what we need really. Peace of mind. Give your mind peace. Things to do that gives it peace. A hobby. A good book. Being in nature, walking, gardening. A crossword, a game, everything that gives the mind a focus. Because for most of us total emptiness of thoughts, like in Zen is something we can’t do. The mind is always there. It needs a direction. A focus.

Another thing you can do when the mind is let’s say untidy, doesn’t know what to do, how to think, is to just let these thoughts, any thoughts be there. It’s ok. You can observe them. Don’t act on them, just observe them. Most likely there’s an emotion at work behind these thoughts. Or fear. Or despair. Just let it be there when it is there. You will begin to notice that by observing all this, there’s something beyond that turmoil that’s very quiet and peacefull.  You will begin to accept, allow.

Well, that’s Zen realy. All of a sudden, you’re back. The real you is there, it clicks, yes, this is me. Don’t be violent on your mind, your thoughts. Treat it like you treat, raise your child. Be kind to it, love it. It will follow your wise advice. You could speak to it, like I know you’re untidy at the moment, or upset, but that’s ok. Just sit with me. Breath. Hold it, rock it like you rock your child when it is upset. That’s the whole idea of using a mantra too, saying it or thinking it on the breath. The mind will rest, set to it and you are filled with the quality of the mantra. For exemple, ya salaam, peace. You will become peace. Or om.

You could hug a tree, your vibrations will merge with the tree. You can even hug your bed, feel the contact with the blankets. Or lay on the floor on a blanket or towel or yogamat. Feel the contact of the body with the floor. That will ground you and release the turmoil too.

Let it melt

Should we  mention here again that we are talking about finer frequencies, in the old days named as Holy Spirit, often confusing and therefore rather not mentioned, having to live in  denser realms where we can’t see because of the fog.

Holy Spirit acts as a catalyst. It knows where to go, where to flow into. Attuning to it, writing about it, giving practices, this continues to work for me too. It throws light on the parts in me that aren’t aligned yet. The distortions that grew in the conditioning and inherited from the family I was born in. The distortions my mind made up. All that has to go. Then I have to sit or lay down and allow it to let it do it’s work. It’s like humbling the head in front of something bigger, to the light. That’s not humiliating. It’s not humbling the head in front of someone else but in front of the bigger me. It’s like these distortions are melting and there is resistance, like aauuch!! It hurts. But in such a way that it can be dealt with. I have to allow it to happen. Sometimes that goes very quickly, sometimes slower, there’s a proces at work. It goes together with getting to understand something, a situation in life, a trigger that catalyzes.
Let it melt.

The problem is, we may have come far in the melting cauldron of changes and I’m sure most of my friends have. But we are meeting with influences that haven’t yet. So we have to become strong, yet not place a facade on us again, a frontier out of protection. Then we are back to the old days. Because if we can’t feel open, we are locked up again. So in order to meet these grosser influnences we have to become creative, play some tricks on it so that for these grosser behaviours, the penny will drop soon too. Because it has to. Isn’t that the urgent current message, seen everwhere?

Artists, musicians, storytellers, scientists, peaceworkers, teachers, politicians, nurses, carers, animal safers, therapists, coaches, people, they are all doing the job.

What helps to go beyond the narrow confines of the ego during the meditation after a yoga session, is to attune to an archetype, like the many Hindu gods and goddesses all represent certain qualities that we can incorporate in ourselves, varying in various times according to our needs. There are many, not only the Hindu ones, but from the entire spectrum of all the traditions.
Or if that does not feel like you want to do, you can simply be in one quality, for example peace, just abide in peace.

For a quality like insight, one can attune to Buddha.

Purity of our soul is Mary.

Mastery for situations in our life Abraham.

And so on.

Or you can simply feel carried by the presence of all the masters saints and prophets, you feel your consciousness merge with their consciousness.

“The earth is kind enough to absorb our stress and impurities and regenerate.”
A phrase which regularly comes back during the yoga class when we are doing the floor exercises.
Also during the yin yoga poses you can let this happen.
Because you are in a posture that you can hold on for a while, you can be at ease to follow what happens. If there is an accumulation of energy, or tension in the lower back for example, it flows into to the earth.
Shining your attention on this enhances the process.
On the exhale, feel the tension drain away.

There is a story from earlier times, how when a man came back from hunting and the body had done enormous efforts, for half an hour he’d be flat down on his back on the ground to recover the body again and regenerate and harmonize the energy with the energy of the earth.
She absorbs and gives at the same time.
Imagine, the earth is a giant magnet with a magnetic field of which you are a part. Sucks the tension away. Nourishes the cells of your body with the magnetism of the earth.

To my great surprise, I saw my friend, who never does yoga and is in full working life, apply this spontaneously during our vacation once. We had made a long drive in France, he was the chauffeur. Finally we arrived at the campsite of our choice from the camp booklet and he parked the camper on a spot next to a well-kept, lush lawn. He was so exhausted by the ride, that he dropped off the engine, opened the door of the car, jumped out, lay flat on the lawn on his back and lay there for half an hour.
Then he was ok again.

Thanks to the earth for recycling our polluted magnetism.

Thanks to my daughter for making the shavasana pic and thanks Lars for modeling on it.
